Emergency services rushed to the Kewalo Basin, where Page's 193-ft vessel is docked, as a gaseous stench spread across the port.
While Page has to foot the bill for the non-toxic clean up, it was fellow billionaire Larry Ellison who had to endure the stink as his super-yacht was docked just downwind from the spill.

'I think its coincidental that they both were involved in this mishap. One being the source, the other being in the plume, so to speak,' Capt. Terry Seelig, with the Honolulu Fire Department, told KITV.
The aviation fuel was being loaded onto Page's yacht, named 'Senses', as he has an on-board helipad and helicopter.
The fuel leaked on Wednesday afternoon and stayed on the surface of the water. It sent a stench across the harbour, which brought emergency crews to investigate, KITV reported.
The wind sent the stink to Ellison's massive yacht, the 288-foot, $125 million Musashi.
'It's volatile, but the fumes are noticeable,' Seelig said. 'We assessed with our hazardous materials crews using air monitoring equipment and found no flammable hazard. There was no toxic hazard.'

Investigators are still trying to determine how the fuel was spilled.
After it was deemed not to be a fire hazard, teams began cleaning up by mop the fuel on the surface and placing absorbent materials around Ellison's boat.
It was also cleaned from beneath docks and boat parking stations by specialist teams.
Page has to pay for the cleanup, but it will not even dent his $23 billion fortune. Authorities said they have not yet recorded the cost of the damage.
KITV reported that it does not appear that the spill caused any pollution issues, yet its impact on wildlife in the water has yet to be seen.

Ellison is the world’s eighth-richest man and the third richest in the United States, with an estimated net worth of $40.7 billion, according to Forbes magazine.
In October, Ellison said he wanted to turn the nearby island of Lanai into a 'little laboratory' for experimenting with more environmentally sound ways to live, and purchased 98 per cent of the land.
When he is not on Lanai, his yacht, the Musashi, is docked at the Honolulu Harvor or Kewalo Basin. It has four levels of living space and is the 41st largest yacht in the world.
Page's 'Senses' comes with a helipad, gym, multi-level sun decks, ten luxurious suites, a crew of 14 and interior design by famed French designer Philippe Starck.
He bought the boat from New Zealand brewing heir Sir Douglas Meyer in 2011. It was first launched onto the seas in 1999.
